SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE

The last Wednesday evening service of the summer will be on Wednesday, August 25th at 7:00 pm. As part of this service, the Senior Youth members who attended the Nation Youth Gathering in New Orleans this summer will share a brief report with the congregation.

Our Sunday services for September 5th and 12th will be held at 9:00 am. One service only on these days. Then on September 19th, we will resume our Fall and Winter and Spring schedule of two services on Sunday – 8:00 and 10:30 am with Sunday School at 9:15 am.

RALLY DAY IS SEPTEMBER 12TH!

Here is the schedule:

9:00 am – Worship Service

10:15 – Sunday School Opening

10:30 – Classroom time

11:00 – Potluck meal

11:30 – Family Kickball Game and “Gospel Train” rides

Mark Sunday, September 26th on your calendar! In the afternoon of that day, the Sunday School  students of Eternal Hope will present a play for the members of Eternal Hope Lutheran Church.  Students will try out for parts in this play this summer. Watch for that information in the bulletins and newsletters of the church.  We encourage everyone of all ages to come to this play! Invite family and friends as well so they can enjoy this fun production as well.  A meal for all will be served following the play.  Time of the play will be announced soon!

ALTAR GUILD

Taking care of the Altar for Sunday Worship services is a privilege for each of us. The sign up sheet for the months of 2010 is located on the board near the sanctuary entrance. At this time, all of the months are covered. Thank you, ladies of the congregation, for your willingness to serve in this way.

We thank those dedicated women who have been so faithful over the years. When you sign up for a month,  you might think about asking someone who has not had the opportunity to help to be your partner.

ALTAR FLOWER CALENDAR

Be sure to check for a date when you or your family want to sponsor the bouquet of flowers that adorn our altar. There are only two dates that are still open -  September 12th and November 14th. Thank you to all members who have made it possible for flowers to adorn our altar throughout the year!
